This past weekend we went and toured Fort Pickens in nearby Pensacola. Fort Pickens is the largest of four forts built to protect Pensacola Bay in 1829 and used through 1940. I'll admit it was so hot outside that we couldn't spend much time pondering its history, but it was interesting and enjoyable.

And did I mention the view? It was spectacular!!!
And lastly, this picture is straight out of the camera, no editing!! My dSLR was out of service, but it's back and better than ever!
