Update: Jamie in Haiti

I finally got to speak with Jamie, on the phone yesterday, and all is well. Since he arrived the day after the earthquake, he went straight to work and continued for 2 days non-stop until more people arrived. He said they now have enough people on the ground to create shifts, so things are getting better. One thing he did mention about his first few days was being approached by Tom Brokaw. He said the flightline is swarming with reporters covering the influx of aide pouring in. He was out there working off of no sleep, covered in dirt and Tom Brokaw came up to him and said he understood that his job was hard and not much fun, but "Thank you." Jamie said he just looked at him and had no idea what to say, but it made his day!
