I am months late in posting this, but I’ve finally got a few moments to share it with you!
Just before Halloween, Ravyn had her 6th birthday party!
A cowgirl/cowboy party.
Complete with a horse, that Ravyn had been asking to ride for longer than I can remember. If you ask Ravyn what she wants to be when she grows up, the answer is always “a horseback wider.”
Once Tuxedo, the pony…who was the size of a horse, was in place. They gave a quick safety lesson to the kids.
And then it was Ravyn’s turn. She was so excited!
While she was riding, Grammie watched over the kids waiting for their turns.
Rio even got to ride!
When the kids weren’t riding, there was plenty to do.
We had a shooting range.
Daddy played sheriff.
There could practice their lasso skills.
And round up some rattle snakes!
With everything going on, it’s hard to believe we found time for a piñata,
cupcakes,
and presents!!
At the end of the day, Ravyn was sad to see her new friend go.
But we came inside for a few more gifts from the family.
None of which compared to the bubble wrap they came in!
My beautiful RayRay,
You bring more joy to our family than I could possibly ever tell you. You are at the top of your class, reading everything you can get your hands on. Not a day goes by when you aren’t in the front yard playing with your brother and all of your neighborhood friends. I am so proud of everything you do! Not only are you smart and a talented gymnast, but your personality is mesmerizing. You are kind to everyone, always helpful, and compassionate when you see a friend in need. You are the kid that everyone dreams of!
You truly light up the world around you!
Love,
Mom
