Field trip to Ryukyu Mura

Valentine' s Day, Ravyn's class went on a field trip to Ryukyu Mura. It's a local amusement park that is a remake of an ancient Okinawa farming village complete with traditional houses, activities and reenactments of traditional ceremonies. For those of you who are not familiar with Okinawa, it has not always been a part of Japan. It was its own kingdom until the late 1800's when Japan invaded the island after realizing other nations saw it as strategically important.
I would say Ravyn had a great time, although the only things that were truly important that day were the bus ride and feeding the coy.
