Ravyn and I are so proud of Jamie for being selected for promotion to TSgt!!!! We're not sure when he'll pin on the rank, probably early next year, but it's nice to know he can cross this goal off of his list.
For those of you not familiar with the Air Force, it is probably the only branch of service that does not promote members by going up in front of a board. That would have been easy for him. Instead, the Air Force bases promotion strictly on scores recorded from a test that covers AF history, rules & regulations, etc and specific job knowledge, weighted with other factors such as time in service, medals, etc.
