Christmas Eve was a very busy day around our house.
We spent the morning baking cookies for Santa,
and I spent the afternoon cooking tamales.
After we filled our bellies, some of us took a nap,
while others went out to sprinkle "reindeer food" on the lawn.
But before anyone could go to bed, we made sure to leave out our cookies and milk for Santa.
Then it was time for Mom and Dad to finish a special project they started a few weeks ago.
