The other day we picked up the kids early from school and decided to go strawberry picking. None of us had ever been strawberry picking so it was an adventure for everyone.
There were row after row of beautiful, juicy strawberries.
Rio started by picking every green strawberry he could find!
It wasn’t too long before he figured things out and added to our bounty.
At the end of the day, we had 15 pounds of gorgeous, huge strawberries!!
We celebrated by making homemade strawberry shortcakes with homemade whipped cream. Yum!
Since then, we’ve had strawberry muffins, strawberry pie, and made strawberry jam. Half of our harvest is gone. Any strawberry recipes I’ve missed? : )
