A look from above
This was the best picture we got. Ravyn was too excited to sit still.

After a late lunch, a movie, and a nap. We all ventured out to the Christmas festival at the local zoo. Yes, we do live in Japan, which is not a Christian country, however, they do know how to celebrate all things American, including Christmas. Decorations went up following Halloween and many places on the island have light shows, festivals, and huge celebrations. The zoo is my favorite place to go each year because they always have snow!!!

Okinawa is a subtropical island, so it would never snow on it's own, but each year they have a company come in and make snow. They create a small area with snow pack to walk on and huge snowmen to take pictures with. This year was especially fun because they had 2 igloos!! Did I mention that they also made sledding runs for all of the kids!! So much fun!
PS Jamie and I made it through without falling, but we saw nearly every person there land on their bottom at least once.
