Navarre Christmas in the Park

Saturday, we bundled up and headed out to our local Christmas parade followed by a performance by Ravyn and her school at the park. The parade was nice with marching bands and local businesses throwing candy to the kids. The newspaper even threw out these fancy suckers!

There was also a dog in a dune buggy! It was a first for us.

And, of course, we got to see Santa Claus himself. Ravyn was so excited!

After the parade was over we went over to the park to watch Ravyn perform. While we were waiting, and trying to keep warm, I couldn't help but to take more pictures.
Who could resist a face like this?

Or two kids with a beautiful backdrop?

And this Little Man?

Alright. We were here for a reason. Like any proud parent, we video-taped every moment. The only problem is that the file is too big to put here on the blog. Sorry. Hopefully these pictures of her on stage will make up for something.
For the first song, they danced to "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year."

And then sang, Los Conejitos (Little Rabbits) with their Spanish teacher, Ms. Celi.
