My Little Boy

This is my Baby Boy.  Standing there wearing his big boy underwear for the first time.  So hard to believe that he will be 2 years old tomorrow. 

I swear it seems like just yesterday we looked into each others eyes for the first time.



Rio entered this world as such a reserved and serious little thing, but has become the most energetic, vibrant personality.  Seeing the joy on peoples faces when he greets them in the grocery store is just a glimpse into the effect he will no doubt have on people for the rest of his life.  So much like his older sister, yet so much his own special self.  Waking up to a little boy making  vroom, vroom noices on your face with his car while his sister is in the background being a ballerina is the most wonderful feeling in the world!

This past year with you has been so much fun!  You went from walking to running, to chasing your sister, to riding a tricycle, to talking, to letting your mind be heard (even if we were in the middle of Walmart)!  I can't tell you how many complements I've received on what  great personality you have.  You're such a laid back little guy, but so strong at the same time.  So much like your Daddy, but so much like Mommy, all rolled into one.  And, you have a Sissy that loves your more than anything.  She loves to praise you when you learn something new and loves to tumble with you on the ground.  Seeing the two of you want to sleep no where other than with each other melts my heart. 

Rio, you truly are the perfect ending to our perfect little family.  You never cease to amaze me and I look forward to what the next year brings.
