For all of August into the beginning of September, Jamie was away attending the Airey Non-Commissioned Officer's Academy at Tyndall AFB. It was a rigrous 6 weeks required for all NCOs to attend to "Prepare [NCOs] for positions of increased responsibility by broadening their leadership and supervisory skills as well as expand their perspective of the military profession."
As I said, it wasn't a cake walk for Jamie, but he made it through and I was able to share in his graduation festivities.
And nothing was better than waking up the next day with a view like this from our hotel room. Beautiful Panama City Beach!
