Long ago, our beloved Blue dog ran through the screen door. Of course I did the right thing, bought all of the new supplies, and repaired it. I will say I probably tooted my own horn on a job well done until she did the same thing less than a month later!! The second time around I didn't have the D.I.Y first timer's drive, so we have been screenless for much longer than I'll dare to admit.
So this brings me to Meow-Meow. Meow-Meow is actually our neighbors' cat who is abnormally friendly to our family. He lives inside their house at night, but spends the majority of days on our front porch or teasing Ravyn through the sliding glass door in the back. Ravyn absolutely adores the cat, I have even threatened to make him my own if I thought they wouldn't notice, but she is terrified that he might touch her!
Nowadays, it is getting warmer and we have had the doors open more often. Occasionally Meow-Meow has come to and sniff around, but has always seemed to know to know his boundaries. Until today.
This morning, he decided that our house was his and walked on in our screenless back door! Ravyn thought it was the greatest thing until he went upstairs. I guess he violated her space. Anyway, the picture above is the only one I could get while tyring to make Ravyn believe it was alright not to be afraid and touch the cat.
Of course this makes me want to go out and get a new pet, so that Ravyn won't be afraid, but how can I ensure that it will be as cool as Blue and Meow-Meow?

It sure looks like Meow-Meow is very happy. Things usually go smoothly when the cat adopts you first. Trust me, he has scouted you out in depth before he decided you people were okay. Ravyn looks ready to launch like a rocket! She will get used to Meow-Meow.
