Happy Halloween

The evening started like this. I tried to get her ready for a costume contest at the Commissary, but the sandman struck. Three hours later off we went...

This year was the first time Ravyn really understood what Halloween was all about. It wasn't really all about the candy for her, but more about finding houses with lights on. She did get quite a bit of candy, but, true to Ravyn, refused to let me help her at all. I tried to get her to say "trick-or-treat," but Ravyn would only say, "Happy Halloween." Even more comical is that she refused to let people put the candy in her bag. When they tried to she would back up and hold out her hand. And lucky for us, trick-or-treating was only the beginning. We were invited over to her little friend's house afterwards for a small Halloween party. Good times!!
