Farm Tales- County Fair

Earlier this week was the grand finale of the base library's summer reading program, "The County Fair." They had all sorts of fun and games for the children with the all important prize (even if you didn't win)!
Our first stop was the the fishing pool where Ravyn caught a rubber ducky.
Then it was onto the milk jug toss
and foot ball throw.
After that came a sack race with her good friend E, followed by many more games.
All of the fun got our appetites going so we stopped for some watermelon and hot dogs, all provided free by the library. I'd like to show you a shot of all of us chowing down, but little man Rio decided to make sure I did nothing else, but shovel an entire hot dog and bun into his mouth as fast as possible!!! Yes, that's right. Rio is eating more than his big sister does on a good day. : )
Oh well, it was all in good fun. And nothing tops Ravyn's fun more than cotton candy.
