Today, Rio turns the big "1" and with that comes the first haircut. We, nervously, took him to the local barber shop that Jamie gets his hair cut.
Here he is getting suited up.
I was so thankful they were kids friendly. Cool cape, check. Toy cars, check.
Let the cutting begin. One curl off... I'm not sure what was going through his mind, but it didn't matter as long as he wasn't crying.
After the first ceremonial curl was gone, the true cutting began. Look at all of the hair on the arm of the chair!!
And in the end, Baby Boy Rio became Little Boy Rio.
And with a face like that, he couldn't stop from admiring himself in the mirror!

Rio is super mellow, just like Jamie. This guy is so sweet--he flashes that smile and melts hearts far away. I can tell he is a serious thinker..... from day 1.
