Dear Ravyn,
You are the perfect little girl that everyone dreams of. You love all things princess-like and "girly," but love to get dirty and play rough. You were a gorgeous baby from birth and things haven't changed a bit! Looking into your beautiful blue eyes cheers me up on even the toughest of days. And if your beauty wasn't enough, you surprise me everyday with how smart you are. You listen to what everyone around you is saying and ask tons of questions. I can't begin to count how many compliments I get about how intelligent and well mannered you are. You pick up everything so quickly! Letters and numbers are automatic for you and you are quick to correct someone who has made a mistake. You are enjoying practicing your phonics, while waiting for the bus in the morning, and quickly honing your pre-reading skills.
But most importantly, you are beautiful on the inside! Your character is so wonderful! You have so much compassion for those around you and an undeniable love for your brother that makes my heart melt.
This past year you have also been very busy. From gymnastics to t-ball to soccer, you always ask what your afternoon activity is and get upset when it is a free day. You love playing with the older kids in the cul-de-sac and taught yourself how to ride a bike with no training wheels (in 2-weeks) just so you could keep up with them.
These days, we're just trying to keep up with you and loving every moment of it.
