Since today is Halloween, we started the day off with pumpkin pancakes.
And dressed in our festive clothes,
Until it was time to turn into this.
If you're saying to yourself, "Oh, what a cute unicorn," then let me correct you and explain that Ravyn says she is not only a unicorn, but a unicorn pegasus because she has wings.
For trick-or-treating we went to a friends Halloween party. After snacking on pizza and other goodies, all of the children stopped to take a picture before going around the neighborhood.
And here are my unicorn pegasus and cowboy. Even though Rio was already walking last year, it was so much more fun this year hearing him say trick-or-treat and see him running from door to door.
It did take him a little time to get into the groove though. After getting candy from the first house, we moved onto the next, but when we got there he gave the candy from the first house to the people at the second house so that he could put their candy into his bucket!
But in the end he got the hang of it and both of the kids came home with their bags nearly full and then both tried to fill their bellies with as much as possible before heading to bed.
