Our own private beach

About 20 minutes east of the base is Eglin Beach Park. It is long stretch of beach with pavilions, bathrooms, and showers, only open to ID card holders. We had driven past it a few times, but yesterday the kids and I made a detour to check it out.
It is wonderful!!! Ravyn and Rio loved it.

And when we walked down the beach, it even had its own shipwreck! I thought it would be tons of fun to check it out, but Ravyn thought it was scary and couldn't wait until I had satisfied my selfish picture taking.
