Fall Fun

Yesterday, we took a drive, a very LONG, LOST drive, into Northwest Florida's farm country in search of the Sweet Season Farm Corn Maze. We were actually getting ready to turn around and go home when we finally found it.

After buying our tickets and NOT buying the optional map, we headed in.
Ravyn was very hesitant at first because of the rustling noise of the corn stalks and not being able to see out, but eventually she warmed up. How can you not get excited when Mom and Dad are chanting, "Corn, Corn" and marching with corn ears?

Did you notice the puckered lips yelling, "coooooorrrnn" at the camera?
After several wrong turns, some crying, and lots of sweat, we made it to the end WITHOUT a map.

And Ravyn rang the bell for everyone to hear.

After that, it was time for some real fun. First stop was the playground.

Where Rio found his own hideout

and Ravyn got up close and personal with some corn in the, "Corn Crib."
Just when you thought it couldn't get much better, Ravyn got to ride on the cow train,
shoot the "Corn Cannon,"
and take a hayride. Okay, I'll be honest, by the time we were ready to go on the hayride, the kids were ready to call it a day and go home. So, no hayride for is, but it did look like fun.
All in all, a great day!
