United Nations Day

The other day, Ravyn's school celebrated United Nations Day in which every student had to represent a country showcasing their food, clothing, and culture. Ravyn and I did Japan along with another one of her friends.
Here's a look at her outfit. It was a special gift from my wonderful friend Naomi and we have been waiting for her to grow into it since we left the island. Luckily, today it fit perfectly!

And here's Rio with his sister.

Once we got to the hall, we set up our table.

Then, the Parade of Nations started.

And once all represented nations had entered, there was time for a group picture.

The woman dressed as a penguin is the owner of the school representing Antarctica.
After tasting all of the delicious foods, it was on to the crafts. Here are Ravyn and her friend making koinobori, carp streamers, a symbol of Children's Day in Japan.

And lastly, Rio tried his best to hang in there, but sleep eventually won.
