Last night, Jamie and I put on our dancing shoes and headed to his squadron Xmas party. Like any other office Christmas party, fun is not always guaranteed. Luckily, we had blast!!! I guess I should have known it would be fun when the invite said the party was a Luau theme and to dress accordingly.
After some mingling and a delicious dinner with good friends, the festivities started.
It was the beginning of a great night when Jamie's Commander and First Sergeant competed in a dance-off.
After that came the Soul-Train line. Of course no one would not let Jamie not participate.
After tons of dancing and loads of prizes given away, we walked away empty handed, but full of great memories to last a lifetime. Oh, and before we headed home we remembered to take a picture together.
**And a special thanks to my Mom for providing the outfit. It's actually a beach cover-up I got as a souvenir from her last trip to Hawaii a few years ago.
