and tamales.
Well, truthfully, we had beans and rice for dinner because the tamales took WAY too long! : )
Christmas morning Ravyn was excited that Santa had come, but mad that he took two bites of a cookie and left it. She said he should have eaten everything!
Ravyn got all of the normal gifts, toys, clothes, etc. The funniest part is that she refused to believe the gifts came from anyone other than Santa Claus! I didn't wrap any gifts until she went to bed on Christmas Eve, so I can see how she thinks Santa brought everything. Sorry everyone, I'll make sure to wrap things ahead next year. : )
She was also great big sister, helping her brother open his gifts.
And of course, once all of the packages were opened, Jamie spent the rest of the morning like every other dad......trying to get the darn things out of the packaging!!!!
Once the morning was over, I went to work in the kitchen cooking ham and all o' the fixings for our dinner. We had about 8 people over from Jamie's work and had a great time. We all ate way too much, but tried to work some of it off playing Rockband.
I think I enjoyed myself so much that I forgot to take pictures of the food and fun, bummer. Oh well, here's a few extra of little Ray.
