Reason #999 why I love Japan: No where is more kid-friendly!!
I love shopping out in town 1) because it is necessity, unless you want to pay $10 for a pound of button mushrooms at the Commissary and 2) because they provide the kids with their own shopping carts. Ravyn even reminds me to bring her Hello Kitty Eco-bag when we go shopping, so that she can carry her snacks in her bag. Sadly, Mom has already caught cooties. : (
***FYI- Japan charges you $.05 per bag if you don't bring Eco-bags!! I think it's great since it forces people to protect the environment, but I only wish American companies were willing to come together and take the same stand.
