Just over a year ago, we bought a house that looked like this.
A few months later we pulled out the over grown bushes and painted the brown shutters black.
And a few weeks ago, Grammie and Papa Doug came to visit and we put them to work! Here's what our house looks like today.
We now have a landscape plan I love and the yard looks even more beautiful in person. Right now, all of the plants are young, but in a few years they'll be lush and gorgeous!
