S is for Swimming!

Since school has been out, Ravyn has been going to swimming lessons everyday at the YMCA. She is having a great time and I love to see her getting better and better! The best part about her swimming classes is that they also teach water safety. They have boating day as well as life-saving themes. Here she is saving a Dad's life. : )

And here's a look at her practicing freestyle.


Along with learning the skills, her teacher allows for plenty of fun. There's always jumping


and at the end of last week the kids got to go down these!


The huge waterslides that shadow over them at every practice! I asked Ravyn which one she wanted to go down first and she chose red! Somehow that didn't surprise me a bit.


Then it was back in line to try out the blue.


Poor Rio wanted to go with his Sissy so badly!


But in the end, Ravyn had to conquer the blue one on her own.


Needless to say, she can't wait to go back next week!!
