Our Tokyo Trip- DisneySea

Okay, I'm sure you're getting tired of all of these vacation blogs, but I just don't have enough time to sit down and make one large one, so it's coming in bits and pieces. And, since my extra time is spent blogging and not scrapbooking, this blog will someday be made into its own blook for each of the kids.

On our previous trip to Tokyo, we took Ravyn to Tokyo Disneyland, so this time we decided to visit the other amusement park, Tokyo DisneySea. People had told me it was better than Disneyland, but I didn't listen to them the first time. What a mistake!!! DisneySea was the perfect fit for us. It is a Disney park built around all things water.
To get there, there was no fighting traffic or hunting for a parking space, just a train ride.

As you can see, Ravyn enjoyed the train so much that she decided to see what was in her nose!! Sorry.
When you enter the park, this is what greets you. Are you in Italy, or at Disney?!

The one thing that was disappointing is that there were no parades, but there were tons of shows to stop and see.

And some things never change (except that Ravyn's hair is three times longer)!! Ravyn still stands out in a crowd!
Now that Ravyn is a little older, she was able to ride most of the rides. She went on her first roller coaster and on this water ride that was similar to my favorite Autopia, but it was Aquatopia.

They also had a huge indoor playground based on the movie The Little Mermaid with all sorts of rides and activities for the kids. Ravyn loved jumping in out of the water squirts.

And running around a playground that was Princess Ariel's house.

And let's not forget Rio is always with us brightening our day with his smile.

Still looking soooo much like his sister.

Of course I enjoyed all of the truly Japanese aspects. In the underground (under the sea) playground, we got sea salt ice cream in a souvenir container that we now use in her lunch box.

And who could get tired of seeing grown men and women wearing mouse ears and running over kids to get their picture taken with the characters? Only in Japan!

At the end of the day we were exhausted!! The first picture is the same place at this last picture, but I didn't want to wait in line to take it when we got there. I should have known we would look like this by the end of the day!
